philosophy
'my practice specialises in painting, yet my output considers many visual languages from figurative to abstract, expressionist to geometric
and always developing through the constant ripening of transcribing new visual inspirations. my paintings attempt to evoke a range of senses
from the visceral to the transcendent and the process is usually directed through playful improvisation or a premeditated action designed around a narrative or composition. i use painting as a form of meditation and a process for refining the self'.
